planet-friendly food eventcoming soon at the comm

Members of the group have been out and about in recent weeks encouraging Knightonians to sign up to the Veg Pledge in the weeks leading to SFK's "Planet-Friendly Food" event on September 27 - see the poster below.  It is envisaged very much as a family-friendly event, with live music, a children's quiz, a few informative presentations, sharing of vegetarian recipe ideas  and free vegetarian snacks to try. Anyone who attempts the veg pledge challenge can bring their completed "veg pledge diary" with them on the 27th for a chance at winning a raffle prize.  If you can't join us on the 27th, you can still return your "Veg pledge diary" and be entered into the raffle by dropping it into either of the 2 collection boxes (at Rhos Organic at The Old Garage, West Street or in the lobby of the Comm) before the event.   If you haven't yet bumped into one of our group signing up people to the veg pledge (They've been at Knighton Co-op, Rhos Organic and Knighton Community Market recently) - and if you have a printer at home - you can still download a "Veg Pledge Diary" here.
